The Tracery Collection

"From the spires and roofs of the celebrated castles and cathedrals of Europe to the solid copper "Golden Temple" in Kunming, China, or the famous baptistery doors of Italy's Florence Cathedral, copper has continued to serve as decorative and functional elements on some of the world's oldest and most famous architecture"

The inspiration behind this collection comes from the symmetry and striking details found in the facades of cathedral architecture. The elements in particular that peaked my fascination were the rose windows, plate tracery, and all the various ornate openings. Every piece in this collection is named after a famous cathedral and captures snapshots of these openings, abstracts these gothic and romanesque details, and transforms them into contemporary, wearable motifs for the modern day woman.
